From fabrics to finished garments: cutting-edge textile technologies and industry trends presented in Tashkent | Report
These days, the capital of Uzbekistan has become an important business platform for representatives of the global textile and fashion industry. From October 12 to 14, three major international exhibitions are taking place simultaneously in the halls of the JSC NEC "Uzexpocentre": Heimtextil Uzbekistan, Texworld Tashkent, and Apparel Sourcing Tashkent.
These events brought together on a single platform more than 200 exhibiting companies from six countries and over 5,000 registered buyers from more than 15 nations.
The exposition covers the entire production chain of the light industry — from raw materials and equipment to finished products.
Guests and market professionals can see trending collections of home textiles, a wide selection of fabrics, knitwear, accessories, and ready-made clothing.
This year, specialists are showing particular interest in the premiere section Textile Machinery: for the first time, modern machinery, automated solutions, and innovative technologies for textile and garment production have been allocated into a separate large-scale direction.
A special international buyer program is actively operating at the venue. As part of it, Uzbek manufacturers hold direct B2B negotiations with foreign retailers, distributors, and retail chains, concluding export supply contracts and building long-term partnerships.
For industry specialists, this is a good opportunity to evaluate industry innovations, establish direct supply chains, and secure profitable contracts.
In addition, the national pavilion Made in Uzbekistan is operating here, representing domestic manufacturers.
The events are held with the official support of the Light Industry Development Agency. The organizer is Business Media Central Asia (BMCA) — the official representative of the global exhibition operator Messe Frankfurt in Central Asia.
