French journalist awarded the "Golden Pencil"

In Paris, the "Golden Pencil" award was solemnly presented to a French journalist.

Didier Labouche, a French journalist and the founder and director of the "Georama" publishing house, was one of this year's winners of the international contest for the "Golden Pencil" national award.

The award was presented to the journalist at the Embassy of Uzbekistan as part of a visit by a delegation of the Journalists' Association of Uzbekistan to France.

At the ceremony, Shuhrat Oripov, Chairman of the Journalists' Association of Uzbekistan, spoke about the reforms being implemented in our country to ensure freedom of speech and openness, as well as to support journalists.

During the event, Didier Labouche was also presented with an honorary membership certificate of the Journalists' Association of Uzbekistan.
