French club Strasbourg may acquire Abbosbek Fayzullaev

French football club Strasbourg is showing interest in acquiring Uzbek midfielder Abbosbek Fayzullaev. According to Radio L1, the Alsatian club intends to begin negotiations for the player, who plays for Turkish side Istanbul Basaksehir, before the end of the summer transfer window.
According to the source, 22-year-old Fayzullaev has significant international experience, having played 35 matches and scored nine goals for the Uzbekistan national team. His technical skills, ability to create scoring chances, and playing primarily on the right flank are expected to enhance Strasbourg's attacking creativity.
However, a deal could be difficult to finalize, as Fayzullaev's current contract with Basaksehir runs until June 2030. This gives the Turkish club a strong negotiating position, and Strasbourg would need to offer a substantial fee to complete the transfer.
According to a source, the French team's management has already taken concrete steps regarding the transfer. Due to the limited time remaining before the transfer window closes, the outcome of the upcoming negotiations will be decisive for the deal's outcome.
Abbosbek Fayzullaev has played three matches for Basaksehir this season, notching one assist.
