Foreign Ministers of Uzbekistan and Vietnam discussed the development of ties
On November 3, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov held a phone conversation with Minister of Foreign Affairs of Vietnam Le Hoai Trung.
According to the head of the Foreign Ministry of Uzbekistan, during the conversation, the parties reviewed issues of further strengthening bilateral relations, intensifying political dialogue, and expanding trade and economic cooperation.
Special attention was paid to the development of practical interaction in areas of mutual interest, as well as the expansion of tourism ties and cultural and humanitarian exchange.
The heads of the foreign ministries also exchanged views on cooperation within the UN and other international organizations.
Following the conversation, the parties reaffirmed their readiness to further develop friendly relations between Uzbekistan and Vietnam, filling them with concrete practical results.
