AEVEX Corp. has presented the Specter autonomous unmanned aerial vehicle with a turbojet engine and a modular payload. Designed for one-way strike missions, the drone's design allows for both ground and air launch.

The device is being developed in cooperation with Divergent Technologies, a company specializing in advanced manufacturing technologies.

According to AEVEX, the Specter is built on a modular airframe. This solution allows for the swapping of equipment suited to the mission without completely redesigning the structure.

An interchangeable nose section serves as the primary element for accommodating the payload. As the platform develops, it is planned that operators will be able to adapt the device for various missions.

Among the potential payload options, the company listed kinetic strike weapons designed to physically damage targets and electronic warfare equipment. In addition, the device can also carry reconnaissance and surveillance systems.

AEVEX has not yet disclosed the Specter's maximum speed, flight range, dimensions, or payload capacity. It is also unknown when serial production will begin, as well as the names of potential customers or operators who might receive the device.
