The opening of the new five-star Hadith Hotel took place in the Samarkand region. It is located on the territory of the Imam Bukhari complex and is primarily designed to accommodate local and foreign pilgrims.
The opening ceremony was attended by the Chairman of the Tourism Committee of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Akkulov, the Khokim of the Samarkand region Adiz Boboev, the Minister of Hajj and Umrah of Indonesia Muhammad Irfan Yusuf, the Ambassadors of Indonesia to Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan, investors, representatives of the tourism sector, and partner organizations.
The four-story Hadith Hotel includes 120 rooms and can accommodate a total of 240 guests. International hotel standards have been applied in organizing the service here, complemented by national traditions of hospitality and rules of conduct appropriate for the property's location near a sacred site.
The Imam Bukhari complex is considered one of the important pilgrimage centers for Muslims of Uzbekistan and other countries. As part of its development, initiated by the country's president, the territory is being expanded and modern infrastructure is being formed. In particular, a mosque capable of simultaneously accommodating up to 10,000 worshippers has been built here.
At the same time, the flow of pilgrims from Indonesia is increasing, which creates additional demand for international-class hotel infrastructure in the area of the complex.
The opening of the Hadith Hotel is expected to expand accommodation options for visitors to the complex and simultaneously contribute to the development of tourism services in the Samarkand region. The new facility also creates jobs and additional opportunities for local entrepreneurs, farmers, and artisans.
The project has become another area of cooperation between Uzbekistan and Indonesia in the field of tourism and strengthens the potential of the pilgrimage destination in the region.
