The volume of market services in Uzbekistan grew by 16.9% in the first half of 2026, with financial services growing the fastest.

The financial sector leads in growth in Uzbekistan

According to the National Statistics Committee, the total volume of market services in Uzbekistan reached 664.9 trillion soums in January-June 2026, a 16.9% increase compared to the same period last year. The most dynamic growth was observed in financial services, architectural and engineering services, education, and communications and information technology.
Financial services demonstrated the highest growth rate of 26.3%. Services in architecture, engineering surveys, technical testing, and analysis ranked second, increasing by 24.6%.
Education services grew by 22.7%, while communications and information technology services grew by 22.1%.
Real estate services grew by 18.3%. Healthcare grew by 16.8%, while other services increased by 16.3%.
Retail services increased by 14.9%, transportation by 14.7%, and personal services by 14.2%.
More modest growth rates were recorded in accommodation and food services (11.6%), computer and household goods repair services (11.4%), and rental services (7.4%).
Thus, in the first half of 2026, the financial sector demonstrated the fastest growth among all service types, followed by architectural and engineering services, education, and IT communications.
