Ferrari presented the 296 GT supercar

Ferrari has demonstrated a new version of the 296 supercar with the GT Modificata suffix in its name.

The car was developed on the basis of the 296 GT3 Evo racing model.

The engine consists of a modernized 2.9-liter V6 turbo engine with 730 horsepower and 800 N·m of torque. Engineers improved the turbochargers, crankshaft, as well as the car's air intake system and intercoolers. In addition, the sports car received a new low-pressure fuel pump. At the same time, Ferrari is not yet disclosing the exact specifications of the supercar.

Furthermore, a new aerodynamic package was added to the GT Modificata model. It includes: a modified front splitter, large air intakes, and a large rear wing with enlarged plates.

Bucket seats with six-point safety belts were installed in the cabin of the supercar. For the driver, there is a rear-view camera, tire pressure sensors, a special V-Box measurement system, and Bosch telemetry.

The price of the new model has not been announced. For now, it is only known that the car will be produced in a limited edition.
