Ferghana region plans to create 100 local brands under a new project focused on brand development, legal protection and promotion.

The Ferghana region aims to establish 100 new local brands through its "100 New Brands of Ferghana" initiative. A seminar and training focused on brand creation, legal safeguarding, and market promotion, both domestically and internationally, recently took place in Ferghana, as reported by Uzbekistan's Ministry of Justice.
This event was a collaborative effort by the Ministry of Justice, the Ferghana regional administration, and the Ferghana regional branch of Uzbekistan's Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
Among those present at the opening ceremony were Deputy Justice Minister Muzraf Ikramov, Deputy Regional Governor Khurshid Akhmedov, along with representatives from the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, entrepreneurs, government officials, experts, and members of the media.
The primary goal of the seminar was to offer tangible assistance to entrepreneurs in the Ferghana region, helping them to develop their brands, secure legal protection for them, and market their products within Uzbekistan and abroad.
Attendees were given advice on crafting corporate identity and design, registering trademarks both within Uzbekistan and internationally, and strategies for promoting their newly developed brands.
During the event, the Ministry of Justice also presented the Ferghana regional administration with certificates officially recognizing Kokand patyr and halva as geographical indications.
