The Fergana region plans to expand cooperation with Turkish entrepreneurs in the fields of ceramics, crafts, and tourism.
The Khokim of the region, Khayrullo Bozorov, held a meeting with the head of the Turkish company Kası Cini Seramik, Husamettin Sabri, and the head of the company Yasin Çelik Collection, Yasin Çelik.
During the negotiations, the parties reviewed the further development of business ties between the Fergana region and Turkish entrepreneurs, as well as the implementation of mutually beneficial and promising projects.
Husamettin Sabri expressed deep respect and love for Uzbekistan as the homeland of his ancestors. He emphasized his desire to contribute to the country's development and presented a number of projects and initiatives that could be implemented in the Fergana region.
One of the key areas was combining the rich traditions of the Rishtan school of ceramics with modern design solutions and technologies from Turkey.
In particular, the parties discussed the possibility of establishing a school of craftsmanship and a gallery in the field of ceramics, establishing cooperation with local artisans, as well as implementing new projects in the tourism sector.
Khayrullo Bozorov supported the proposed initiatives and noted the readiness of the regional khokimiyat to provide the necessary practical assistance in studying the available opportunities and implementing promising projects.
Following the meeting, an agreement was reached to work out the presented proposals in detail together with the responsible officials, as well as to study the organizational and practical issues of project implementation.
As part of the visit program, the Turkish entrepreneurs visited the Rishtan district.
They familiarized themselves with the activities of local master ceramicists, the traditions of the Rishtan school of ceramics, and the products created by local artisans.
The visit to the district allowed the delegation to directly get acquainted with the specifics of the local ceramic art and the potential for further cooperation in this field.
