Families from the social protection register will be paid compensation of up to 600 thousand soums for the purchase of coal

According to the new mechanism, a family included in the social protection register will be paid 300 thousand soums for each purchased ton of coal, up to a total of 600 thousand soums per calendar year.

In the autumn-winter season of 2026–2027, a new procedure for supplying local coal to the population will come into effect. This was announced by JSC "Uzbekkumir".

Under the new mechanism, a family registered in the social protection registry will be paid 300,000 soums for each purchased ton of coal, and up to 600,000 soums in total within one calendar year. In addition, private entrepreneurs will be involved in supplying local coal to the population.

In 2026, it is planned to supply 1.53 million tons of local coal for the needs of the population. Currently, work on distributing coal by region and putting it up for exchange trading is being carried out in stages.

The first batches of coal put up for exchange trading for the population of the Andijan, Fergana, and Namangan regions have already been purchased by private entrepreneurs. Currently, the execution of contracts and the delivery of coal to the regions are ongoing.

After the coal is delivered to the respective warehouses, its sale will be organized by entrepreneurs through the electronic platform mycoal.uz. The start date of sales, warehouse addresses, available quantities of coal, and other information will be published on the platform by region.
