Fabio Cannavaro supported the FIFA President

Fabio Cannavaro expressed support for the FIFA President
Head coach of the Uzbekistan national football team and 2006 World Cup champion Fabio Cannavaro commented on the current situation surrounding FIFA President Gianni Infantino.
"Over the last decade, world football has made significant progress, and footballers have once again found themselves in the spotlight. Infantino has done an outstanding job... It would be unfair not to acknowledge this," Cannavaro noted.
In addition to the Uzbekistan national team coach, other prominent football figures have expressed support for the FIFA President, including Cafu, Roberto Carlos, Javier Zanetti, Esteban Cambiasso, Ivan Ramiro Cordoba, and Jared Borghetti.
Meanwhile, pressure on the FIFA leader continues to mount. One of the key reasons cited is the FIFA Forward Enterprise initiative, which proposes selling the commercial rights to the World Cup to private investors.
Currently, a number of major organizations are opposing Infantino's policies. Among them are UEFA, CONCACAF, and the AFC (Asian Football Confederation). Furthermore, several European countries have declared the need for a change in FIFA's leadership and have officially withdrawn their support for the current president.
Despite this, the FIFA president retains a significant number of supporters. In particular, he continues to receive support from the African Football Confederation and the South American Football Confederation, as well as from countries such as Morocco, Qatar, the UAE, Mexico, and Argentina.
