During the reconstruction of a seven-kilometer section of the D105 road in the Bagdad district of the Fergana region, the felling of 39 trees is planned: one dried plane tree and 38 ornamental trees classified as low-value in the documents. In return, it is planned to plant 390 ornamental seedlings at least five years old.

During the road reconstruction in the Fergana region, the cutting down of 39 trees is planned. This is provided for by the conclusion of the state ecological expertise dated October 24, 2026. Compensatory plantings must be carried out in the autumn of 2026 along the road on the territory designated for landscaping.
The expertise also requires clarifying the location of 1,309 trees and shrubs recorded outside the road strip, and coordinating the results of their inventory with the regional ecology department. During construction work, it is necessary to ensure the preservation of existing plantings.
A positive conclusion of the expertise in itself does not grant permission to cut down or transplant trees: corresponding permit documents are required for this. The client is also instructed to develop the second stage of the environmental impact assessment.
