During a search of a local resident's home in the Balykchy District of the Andijan Region, marijuana, a smoking device, and seeds resembling cannabis were discovered.

The special operation was conducted as part of the third stage of the nationwide campaign "Safe and Healthy Country." Law enforcement officers were checking for potential cases of illicit drug trafficking.

During the search of the 60-year-old local resident's home, officers found 76 grams of marijuana, a plastic container adapted for smoking, and seeds of a plant resembling cannabis.

All the discovered items were seized and processed as physical evidence.

A criminal case has been initiated against the man, and the investigation is ongoing.

Earlier, law enforcement officers seized more than two kilograms of marijuana in the Turtkul District of Karakalpakstan. The suspect was detained while handing over the prohibited substance to another person.
