US President Donald Trump may visit Uzbekistan. Paolo Zampolli, the US President's Special Representative for Global Partnerships, spoke about Trump's desire to visit the country. However, no specific dates for the trip have been named yet.

In an interview with the "Tahlilnoma" program, Zampolli emphasized that despite Trump's busy schedule, the US President had personally told him of his desire to visit Uzbekistan. According to the Special Representative, he himself is actively promoting the idea of such a visit and hopes it will take place as soon as possible.

Zampolli also stated that Uzbekistan has become one of the important directions for the White House and the US administration.

Earlier, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev had repeatedly invited Trump to visit the country at a time convenient for the American leader. In August, during a telephone conversation, he once again invited the US President to pay an official visit to Uzbekistan.

The Head of the Administration of the President of Uzbekistan, Saida Mirziyoyeva, met with US President Donald Trump in Washington. She conveyed to him the best wishes from President Shavkat Mirziyoyev. At the end of September, Saida Mirziyoyeva had already visited the US to participate in the session of the UN General Assembly.
