Dairy production to be expanded in Khorezm

The volume of dairy products production in Khorezm will increase. President Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited the new production complex of the Tillo Domor enterprise located in Urgench district and got acquainted with the processes of milk processing and production of finished products. This enterprise is one of the important projects aimed at deep processing of local raw materials in the Khorezm region, which has a high potential for milk production.

The enterprise, with a total cost of 11 million dollars, has a production capacity of about 100 billion soums per year. The production complex is equipped with modern technological equipment imported from Bulgaria.

Currently, more than 70 types of dairy products are being produced here, including cheese, cream, sour cream, cottage cheese, yogurt and kefir. Raw materials are purchased from more than 100 farms and the population every day.

120 jobs have been created at the enterprise, and solar panels with a capacity of 100 kilowatts have also been installed in the production complex.

In the future, it is planned to create 100 new jobs at the enterprise and increase the range of products. Regular purchases of raw materials from the population and farmers serve to form a stable sales market for livestock breeders.

Today, about 1,200 processing enterprises operate in the Khorezm region. The increase in the number of these enterprises expands the possibilities for industrial processing of local raw materials and increasing added value.

The President emphasized the importance of deep processing of local raw materials and increasing the production of high-value-added products. It was also noted the need to sustainably provide such enterprises with raw materials, increase the range of products and production volumes. Relevant instructions were given to officials to support entrepreneurial initiatives.
