CSCEC International will assist in the creation of "New Bekabad"

According to a statement from Uzmetkombinat JSC, agreements have been reached with the Chinese company CSCEC International to launch a number of new investment projects in Uzbekistan. These include the construction of an energy storage system with a capacity of up to 150 MW and the transformation of Bekabad into a modern urban center called "New Bekabad."

This meeting between Uzmetkombinat representatives and the Chinese delegation was a logical continuation of previous negotiations held during the Uzbek company's visit to China. During the ongoing discussions, the parties moved on to specific steps to implement previously reached agreements.

One of the central issues was financing and investment in the project to create an energy storage system with a capacity of up to 150 MW. Furthermore, the parties agreed to collaborate on the Tebinbulak project and other large-scale investment initiatives in Uzbekistan.

Particular attention was paid to the development of Bekabad. As part of the agreements reached, plans are underway to transform the city into a modern "New Bekabad." The Chinese partners have been tasked with developing a corresponding project proposal.

Following the meeting, Uzmetkombinat and CSCEC International signed a memorandum of cooperation. This document lays the foundation for a long-term and mutually beneficial partnership between the two parties.
