On August 14, Abdulla Azizov, Director of the Agency for the Development of the Medical and Pharmaceutical Industry, met with representatives of the China State Construction Engineering Corporation (CSCEC).
According to the Agency for the Development of the Medical and Pharmaceutical Industry, during the talks, the parties discussed the development of the pharmaceutical industry, the creation of an advanced production and research base, and the implementation of large-scale investment projects.
Particular attention was paid to the potential use of CSCEC's international experience and innovative construction approaches in the construction of the BioPharma City pharmaceutical cluster.
In particular, the meeting participants examined the possibilities of constructing modern laboratories, research centers, production facilities, and the necessary engineering infrastructure.
The discussion also focused on the implementation of advanced technologies in the design and construction of facilities, attracting investment, and prospects for the joint implementation of large-scale infrastructure projects.
Following the negotiations, the parties exchanged views on further deepening cooperation in the identified areas.
