Chess Olympiad. Uzbekistan women's team defeated Slovenia

As part of the 7th round matches of the 46th World Chess Olympiad continuing in the city of Samarkand, the women's team representing Uzbekistan confidently defeated the Slovenian national team with a score of 3.5:0.5.

Afruza Hamdamova, Gulruhbegim Tohirjonova, and Guldona Karimova won their matches, while Nilufar Imomqo‘ziyeva drew with her opponent, securing the overall victory for our team.

Following this victory, the Uzbekistan women's national team rose to 9th place in the standings. Currently, the Chinese national team is in 1st place. The subsequent positions are occupied by the national teams of Kazakhstan, led by Bibisara Assaubayeva, and India.

For information, in the previous round, the Uzbekistan women's national team lost to Georgia with a score of 0.5:3.5 and dropped out of the top ten.
