A seminar was held in the building of the courts of Tashkent Region, during which judges and judicial system employees reviewed current changes in tax legislation, as well as the specifics of their application in resolving tax disputes.

The event was attended by the chairmen of the Tashkent Regional Court and the Tashkent Regional Administrative Court, judges of all judicial panels, court staff, as well as a member of the Public Council under the Tax Committee, tax consultant Irodakhon Abbaskhonova.

The main focus of the seminar was on changes in the field of value added tax, the procedure for conducting tax audits, support measures for small businesses, and the application of financial sanctions.

In particular, the participants reviewed the raising of the threshold for transitioning to VAT payment, the introduction of a simplified VAT taxation regime at a rate of 6% for certain entities, as well as the establishment of a three-year moratorium on audits of small businesses, except for cases provided for by law.

It was emphasized that the new measures are aimed at reducing the administrative burden on entrepreneurs, increasing the transparency of tax control, and reducing the number of tax disputes.

In conclusion, the participants discussed issues of uniform application of the updated norms in judicial practice. The speaker also answered questions from the judges and clarified certain provisions of the tax legislation.
