Centrum Air explained why a passenger was denied boarding on the Samara — Tashkent flight
Centrum Air airline responded to a report by blogger komil_vlogs, who was traveling on flight C6468 from Samara to Tashkent on October 5, claiming that he was not allowed on board after asking a flight attendant to speak to him in the Uzbek language.
"Centrum Air is an airline created and developing in multinational Uzbekistan. All our flight attendants speak Uzbek, Russian, and English, and communicate with passengers in the language convenient for them," the carrier's press service reported.
According to the airline, the passenger "behaved aggressively towards the flight attendant: made demands in a rude manner, insulted the employee, and obstructed her work during the boarding of passengers."
"Such behavior could have posed a threat to safety and order on board, which is why the aircraft commander decided to deny the passenger boarding. We consider this decision to be fully justified," Centrum Air stated.
"All circumstances of the incident have been documented. The airline is considering the possibility of contacting law enforcement agencies regarding the actions of this citizen," the company added.
