Bus #10 caught fire in Tashkent region
A Mercedes-Benz bus traveling on route No. 10 caught fire in the Kibray district. Passengers were evacuated, and no one was injured.

On August 15, a fire broke out on bus route No. 10 in the Tashkent region.
According to the information service of JSC Toshshahartransxizmat, the incident occurred in the Kibray district.
Around 4:10 PM, the engine compartment of a Mercedes-Benz Low Floor bus caught fire on Charogon Street in the O'nkurgon mahalla. The bus, registration number 05-414 and state registration number 01 481 WCA, belongs to branch No. 5 of the bus depot of JSC Toshshahartransxizmat and was operating on the route "MFY Khodjakurgon - 12th quarter of Yunusabad."
According to preliminary reports, the fire was caused by a short circuit in the wiring in the engine compartment.
The driver quickly evacuated all passengers to a safe location and attempted to extinguish the fire using the on-board fire extinguishing equipment. An EMERCOM fire and rescue team arrived at the scene and brought the situation under control.
No one was injured in the incident.
Following the incident, the bus was taken to a repair yard, where specialists are carrying out the necessary restoration work.
