Barcelona to sign Croatia goalkeeper - source

Barcelona are close to signing Croatia goalkeeper Dominik Livaković, according to Marca.
According to the source, the Catalan club is successfully negotiating with the 31-year-old's current club Fenerbahçe. However, the parties have not yet reached a final agreement.
Barcelona plan to complete the transfer by September 1. According to initial plans, Livaković will be loaned to another team for one season.
In the 2026/27 season, Barcelona will be guarded by Joan Garcia and Wojciech Szens. Livaković is expected to join the team next summer, when Szensny's contract with Barcelona expires.
After that, the Croatian goalkeeper may become the deputy of the main goalkeeper Joan Garcia.
Livaković's transfer to Barcelona is expected to cost around €3-5 million.
For your information, Livaković started the 2025/26 season with Fenerbahçe. He later moved to Girona on loan, but only made one appearance for the Spanish club. In January 2026, the Croatian goalkeeper returned to Dinamo Zagreb on loan.
Livaković made 12 appearances for the Zagreb club in the second half of the season, keeping seven clean sheets.
