Barber offers free back-to-school haircuts
Guildford barber Sid Gumbrell says he wants to give back and help parents with the cost of living.

A barber is providing complimentary back-to-school haircuts, along with stationery and other school necessities, to support families grappling with increasing expenses.
Sid Gumbrell, proprietor of Clean Cuts Barber Shop in Guildford, Surrey, is holding the initiative this Sunday from 09:00 BST to 17:00.
In addition to haircuts, children can also receive free stationery, pencil cases, and water bottles.
Mr. Gumbrell stated, "To be honest, I know the struggles with the cost of things at the moment. School uniforms, shoes, haircuts, etc, it all adds up and if we can just help take one cost away it's a massive deal for us."
He explained that the event aims to foster community among children while simultaneously easing the financial burden on families due to the cost of living.
Tesco and Krispy Kreme are backing the day's efforts through their donations to the event.
