Aziz Ganiev moved to UAE's Baniyas

Uzbekistan national team midfielder Aziz Ganiev has signed a contract with Baniyas, having previously become the UAE champion with Shabab Al Ahli.

Uzbekistan national team midfielder Aziz Ganiev has signed an agreement with the football club Baniyas, which plays in the UAE. This transfer was part of the team's efforts to strengthen its main squad ahead of the new season, as announced by the Baniyas football club.

The signing of the contract with Ganiev took place in the presence of club board member Ahmed Al-Jabri. He welcomed the Uzbek midfielder to the team and wished him luck in this new stage of his career.

Ganiev already has experience playing in the UAE's ADNOC Pro League and continues to represent the Uzbekistan national team on the international stage.

Previously, the midfielder played for Shabab Al Ahli. In the 2025/26 season, the team won the ADNOC Pro League championship title.

In addition, Ganiev achieved several domestic successes with the club.

Baniyas expects that his experience and playing qualities will help strengthen the team's squad and contribute to achieving the club's goals in the upcoming season.
