Autumn in the mountains of Surkhandarya began with snow. Video

The first autumn snow has fallen in the mountains of Surkhandarya. The snowfall was recorded on the territory of the "Yukori Tupalang" National Nature Park, in the high-mountain part of Tamshush.

The snow fell on September 4 in the Tamshush area, which is located in the high-altitude zone of the park. According to the regional department of ecology and climate change, the cause was a noticeable drop in air temperature in the mountains.

Specialists note that in mountainous areas, the weather can vary significantly even over a short distance. With increasing altitude, the nature of precipitation also changes, so snow can fall here while relatively warm weather still persists in lower-lying areas.

Similar weather was observed on September 4 in the Kashkadarya region as well. After a sharp drop in temperature, snow cover appeared on the territory of the "Hissar" ("Hisor") State Reserve.
