Arnold Schwarzenegger as Santa Claus: Trailer released for the action-comedy "The Man with the Bag" (video)

Amazon MGM Studios has presented the first trailer for the Christmas action-comedy film titled "The Man with the Bag." Arnold Schwarzenegger plays the lead role, appearing in the film as Santa Claus. Opposite him is Alan Ritchson, known for the "Reacher" series.

According to the plot, a mischievous elf steals the magic bag, putting the entire Christmas holiday in jeopardy. To retrieve the missing bag, Santa Claus seeks help from a thief named Vance, played by Alan Ritchson. Vance, along with his daughter, Santa Claus, and a team of misfits, must pull off the biggest heist of his life and save the holiday.

This marks Arnold Schwarzenegger's return to a Christmas-themed film after 30 years. The actor played the lead role in the 1996 family comedy "Jingle All the Way," where his character tries his best to find a popular toy for his son, but the toy is already sold out in all stores. Now, the actor plays Santa Claus himself.

The film also stars Awkwafina, Ken Jeong, Jane Krakowski, Liza Koshy, Kyle Mooney, and Michael Cyril Creighton.

The film is directed by Adam Shankman and written by Allan Rice. "The Man with the Bag" will premiere on December 2 on the Prime Video platform.
