Approved forms of warning labels for geographical indications and appellations of origin of goods
They have been approved by a resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers, and now the owner of a certificate of the right to use a geographical indication can apply the corresponding marking confirming the registration of the designation in the Republic of Uzbekistan.

By Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers No. 469 dated 05.09.2026, the forms and descriptions of warning labels for geographical indications and appellations of origin have been approved.
In accordance with the Law "On Geographical Indications", the holder of a certificate of the right to use a geographical indication may place a warning label next to the geographical indication, indicating that the designation used on the product or packaging is a geographical indication registered in the Republic of Uzbekistan.
