An Uzbekistani doctor provided medical assistance to a woman who fell ill on a plane

On October 11, on board a flight from Uzbekistan to South Korea, Uzbekistani doctor Khasan Komilov assisted a woman whose condition had deteriorated. A passenger on the flight reported this on the Threads network.

According to the passenger, the woman, presumably of Korean nationality, had her diastolic (lower) blood pressure drop to 20, and she went into a severe state of shock. At that moment, the Uzbekistani doctor on board provided her with aid.

The doctor periodically administered oxygen to the woman and gave her an injection of dexamethasone. As a result, the woman safely arrived in Korea.

An eyewitness to the incident also noted that other Uzbekistanis on board rushed to help as well. They gave the woman water, candy, chocolate, a pillow, and blankets. Flight attendants were also actively involved in providing assistance.

"Honestly, I admired all of them. This was my first time visiting Uzbekistan, and I was deeply touched by the kindness of the people of Uzbekistan. There is probably no profession more honorable than saving a human life," the passenger wrote.

According to her, the Uzbekistani doctor who helped the woman may have come to Korea for advanced training.
