An Uzbekistani citizen who was seriously injured in Kazakhstan has been returned to his homeland

An Uzbek citizen who sustained serious injuries after falling from a height at a construction site in Almaty, Kazakhstan, has been assisted in returning to his homeland. This was reported by the "Dunyo" news agency.

According to the report, on August 25, Uzbek citizen D.A. approached the country's Consulate General requesting practical assistance in returning her spouse, X.M., to Uzbekistan. During the inquiry, it was established that X.M. had sustained serious bodily injuries after falling from a height due to negligence at one of the construction sites in Almaty.

He had been receiving treatment at a local medical facility since August 15. Taking into account his health and medical condition, the Consulate General and the Migration Agency took the necessary measures for his repatriation.

Consequently, X.M. and his spouse were brought across into Uzbekistan through the "Koplanbek–Navoiy" border checkpoint. At the border post, they were met by a special ambulance and a team of qualified doctors provided by the Republican Scientific Center for Emergency Medical Care.

Under medical supervision, the injured citizen was safely transported to an appropriate medical facility and admitted for treatment.
