In the Russian city of Yekaterinburg, a citizen of Uzbekistan who sustained a severe injury and faced financial difficulties was returned to his homeland with the assistance of diplomats. A return certificate was issued for him, and an air ticket to Tashkent was purchased at the expense of the Migration Agency's fund.

A.D., born in Tashkent region, applied to the Consulate General of Uzbekistan in Yekaterinburg on September 8 asking for assistance.
It is reported that the citizen went to the Sverdlovsk region in January 2024 with the aim of engaging in temporary labor activity. However, in July, he fell at his temporary place of residence and suffered a severe spinal injury.
Due to a lack of funds, he was unable to undergo the necessary course of treatment and was deprived of the opportunity to continue his labor activity. In addition, his identity documents had also become unusable.
The staff of the Consulate General studied the situation and, in cooperation with relevant agencies, took the necessary measures. A certificate of return to Uzbekistan was issued to the citizen.
Also, in accordance with the established procedure, a ticket for the "Yekaterinburg–Tashkent" flight was purchased at the expense of the Migration Agency's fund.
As a result, he was safely returned to Uzbekistan, accompanied by staff from the Consulate General and the Migration Agency.
