A case of fraud related to the allocation of land plots has been exposed in Namangan Region.

A swift operation was conducted jointly by employees of the Namangan Regional Department under the Prosecutor General's Office and other law enforcement agencies.

During the operation, X.D., an employee of the Naryn-Syrdarya Basin Administration of Irrigation Systems, and citizen B.A., acting in collusion, were caught with material evidence while receiving 11,500 US dollars from citizen M.E., promising to register a 40-sotix (0.4 hectare) land plot in the Mingbulak District under his name without auction sales.

Regarding this case, a criminal case has been initiated under Articles 25, 168 (fraud) and Articles 28, 211 (bribery) of the Criminal Code, and investigative actions are underway.
