An American Airlines passenger was taped to his seat after causing a disturbance on a plane.

According to reports, the man behaved like a drunk person. He screamed, talked about Jesus and hell, and began insulting a flight attendant. Later, he hit a passenger sitting next to him and pushed a woman who tried to intervene in the conflict.

Then, several passengers worked together to restrain him and tied the man securely to his seat using duct tape and plastic zip ties.

The plane was forced to divert to Baltimore. There, the man was detained by the police. After that, the plane continued its flight to Newark.

American Airlines confirmed that the plane made an emergency landing due to a disruptive passenger. The company stated that violence on board would not be tolerated. The man is currently being investigated under charges of assault and disturbing public order.
