It was reported that an air raid alert was declared in Lithuania due to a possible drone. Flights at Vilnius Airport were temporarily suspended.

According to the report, the air raid alert was declared in the Vilnius, Trakai, and Elektrėnai districts, as well as in the city of Vilnius. The Lithuanian Armed Forces urged residents to identify safe shelters in advance.

NATO fighter jets were scrambled into the air.

Vilnius International Airport is located 6-7 km from the Lithuanian capital and is the country's main aviation hub.

Later, LRT reported that the alert had been lifted and the operations of Vilnius Airport had been restored.
