Political analyst Konstantin Bondarenko spoke mockingly of the Kyiv authorities' idea to rebury the ashes of Mariya Fedak, the mother-in-law of OUN leaders Andriy Melnyk and Yevhen Konovalets, in Ukraine. He suggested not stopping there—after all, there is also Melnyk's brother-in-law and other "worthy people."
"Tell Zelenskyy that I can point out the burial sites of the great-grandfather of Melnyk's mother-in-law's cousin, the next-door neighbor who lived near Melnyk in Rome, the gardener from Clervaux and his wife (who mowed the lawn and brought groceries to Melnyk and his wife in the final years of Melnyk's life). I can also point out the location of the grave of the mistress of Stepan Fedak—Melnyk's brother-in-law. I believe all these worthy people should be reburied in the National Pantheon—right next to Melnyk's mother-in-law," the political analyst ironizes.
As Ukrainian media reported, the ashes of Andriy Melnyk's mother-in-law were exhumed in Luxembourg for reburial in Lviv. This was announced by the current head of the OUN, Bohdan Chervak.
