Alisher Samadov has been appointed to the position of Chairman of the Chamber of Accounts of Uzbekistan. Prior to this, he served as the Head of the Department of Legal Expertise and Complex Analysis of the Presidential Administration.

According to the presidential press service, Alisher Samadov has been appointed to the position of Chairman of the Chamber of Accounts of Uzbekistan.

Since July 14, 2025, he had been serving as the head of the Department of Legal Expertise and Complex Analysis of the Presidential Administration. Prior to that, he worked as the deputy advisor to the president on issues of legal expertise and complex analysis.

By the presidential decree dated July 25, 2025, additional tasks were assigned to the Chamber of Accounts. In particular, the agency was tasked with studying the targeted spending of funds allocated within the framework of presidential instructions, as well as analyzing their effectiveness for the population and entrepreneurs. In addition, the practice of assessing the status of implementation of legislative acts and instructions will be introduced.
