Afghanistan withdrew from the kokpar tournament after losing to Uzbekistan

Afghanistan has withdrawn from the kokpar tournament after a defeat against Uzbekistan
The national team of Afghanistan decided not to continue its participation in the kokpar tournament at the VI World Nomad Games in Kyrgyzstan. The team made this decision after an opening 1:4 defeat to Uzbekistan, with horse-related issues cited as the reason for their departure.
According to the head of the Buzkashi Federation of Afghanistan, Gulam Sarwar Jalal, the team was ready to play their next match against Mongolia, but the organizers were unable to provide the riders with suitable horses. The Afghans refused to play and were handed a 0:3 technical defeat, after which the national team ended its participation in the tournament.
The VI World Nomad Games are taking place in Kyrgyzstan from August 31 to September 6. The program includes dozens of traditional sports, and the kokpar competitions are being held in Cholpon-Ata.
