Actress Yodgora Ziyomuhamedova has passed away at the age of 74
Honored Artist of Uzbekistan, a well-known figure of theater and cinema art, Yodgora Ziyomuhamedova, has passed away at the age of 74. This was announced by the Ministry of Culture.
Yodgora Ziyomuhamedova worked at the State Young Spectators Theatre of Uzbekistan for more than 34 years, creating nearly 100 characters on stage.
She performed roles such as Little Red Riding Hood in the play "Qizil shapkacha" (Little Red Riding Hood), Qimmat in "Zumrad va Qimmat" (Zumrad and Qimmat), Sanobar in "Farzandim jigarbandim" (My Child, My Flesh and Blood), Nazira in "Sening taqdiring" (Your Destiny), Pokiza in "Yarash-yarash" (Reconciliation), Gulnur in "Burgut" (The Eagle), and Oltinoy in "Birinchi muallim" (The First Teacher).
The actress also worked productively in television and cinema. In particular, she hosted the children's favorite show "Oqshom ertaklari" (Evening Tales) for 25 years.
The Ministry of Culture emphasized that Yodgora Ziyomuhamedova's contribution to the development of national art, her versatile creativity, and her rich artistic legacy will remain in the memory of the people.
The team of the Ministry expressed condolences to the actress's family members and relatives, her students, colleagues, and the artistic community on her passing.
