Nearly 800 jobs are being offered for Uzbeks in Belarus

The Director of the Migration Agency of Uzbekistan, Muhsinxo‘ja Abdurahmonov, held a meeting with the Ambassador of Belarus to Uzbekistan, Aleksandr Ogorodnikov. During the meeting, the issues of organized employment of Uzbek citizens, especially residents of the Andijan region, in the Vitebsk region of Belarus were discussed.

According to the information, employers in the Vitebsk region have expressed a need for nearly 800 employees. After reviewing the documents of candidates submitted from the Andijan region, a list of 204 people has been formed so far. In the future, it is planned to attract applicants for the selection process from all regions of Uzbekistan.

The candidates' documents and professional skills will be reviewed at the initial stage. The final selection will be conducted through online interviews with Belarusian employers.

During the meeting, it was also proposed to explore the possibility of employers covering the travel expenses of citizens in advance.

On July 15, Shavkat Mirziyoyev reviewed a presentation on the implementation of agreements reached during his visit to Belarus. It discussed expanding interregional cooperation, implementing new investment projects, and providing employment for citizens.

The presentation also reviewed the results of cooperation between the Andijan and Vitebsk regions. It was reported that within the framework of the "road map" between the two regions, the organized travel and employment of 255 residents of Andijan in the Vitebsk region has been established.
