A US Congressional delegation arrived in Uzbekistan.

A delegation from the US House of Representatives, led by Jason Smith, arrived in Uzbekistan to discuss interparliamentary and economic ties.

A delegation from the United States Congress, led by Jason Smith, Chairman of the House Committee on Revenue and Expenditure, has arrived in Uzbekistan, according to the Senate of the Oliy Majlis.

The American delegation was met at the airport by Sodik Safoyev, First Deputy Chairman of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis.

During the visit, a number of meetings with representatives of the Uzbek parliament are planned. The main topics of discussion will be strengthening interparliamentary ties between the two countries, as well as prospects for further development of trade, economic, and investment cooperation.
