A support center for women entrepreneurs has been opened in Chiraqchi
A new HAMROH center designed to support women entrepreneurs has opened in the Chiraqchi district of Kashkadarya region. There, women can receive expert advice on starting and developing a business, participate in educational programs, and work with mentors.
A center dedicated to supporting women entrepreneurs has opened in Chiraqchi.
The center, established with the support of the Chiraqchi district administration and The Stirling Foundation, aims to expand access to business development education, consulting, and mentoring services for women entrepreneurs living in Chiraqchi and nearby areas.
This is the next center of the HAMROH organization in the regions. The organization previously opened a branch in Nukus and a center in Chimboy.
At the new center in Chiraqchi, women entrepreneurs can receive advice on starting and developing a business, increasing financial literacy, and accessing financing opportunities. Participants will also be provided with individual guidance and expert support at various stages of the business.
One of the main areas of the center’s activity will be the Women’s Entrepreneurship Support Program (WESP), which is implemented by HAMROH in partnership with the United Nations Development Program (UNDP).
The opening ceremony of the center was attended by more than 80 businesswomen, representatives of government agencies, the HAMROH team, mentors and participants of educational programs.
The event was addressed by the Deputy Governor of Kashkadarya region - Head of the Department of Family and Women Ziyoda Aminova, the Governor of Chiroqchi district Bahodir Khudoykulov and the Director General of HAMROH Dilfuza Nurmatova.
Also, WESP program mentors, representatives of the artisan community and women entrepreneurs shared their experience and practical recommendations for business development. At the end of the event, a networking session was held for participants to exchange experiences, discuss cooperation prospects and establish new professional contacts.
“For us, each new center is, first of all, a new opportunity for women entrepreneurs. "We want women to have access to quality support, regardless of where they live and where they develop their business," said Dilfuza Nurmatova, CEO of HAMROH.
