Extremely rapid measures were taken after a call was received at the "102" number with great fear and excitement, reporting that a woman had thrown herself into a river.
As soon as the message was received at around 00:00 at night, the local prevention inspector, Shahzod Nasullayev, rushed to the scene and, on his way, also informed the PPS (Patrol-Post Service) officers and the chairman of the neighborhood citizens' assembly about the situation. Despite the dangerous situation in the darkness of the night, the prevention inspector threw himself into the freezing water to save the drowning woman who was struggling for her life in the fast-flowing river. He caught the drowning woman and brought her unconscious to the other side of the river. Despite his entire body being numb from the freezing water, the prevention inspector provided first aid to save the woman's life. Then, lifting her up, he waded back across the river.
Meanwhile, the neighborhood chairperson Gulchiroy Jamolova and PPS officer Mirshod Rahimov also arrived at the scene and took swift action.
According to Ulugbek Shukurlaev, the head of the press service of the Bukhara Regional Department of Internal Affairs, who informed "Xabar.uz", they saved the woman's life.
