A park and youth town will be created in Tashkent.

A green park will be created on the site of a former oncology center in Tashkent, and the buildings will be converted into a youth campus.

A new park and youth village will be built in Tashkent on the site of a former oncology center, which occupied an area of 4.36 hectares. This was announced by the press service of the Tashkent city administration.

According to the plans, an open green park will be created on the site, and existing buildings will be converted into a youth village. Authorities emphasized that the creation of the village will not reduce the park's area. Educational and creative centers, a library, coworking spaces, simulation workshops, and startup studios will be located in the existing buildings, which will be reconstructed and adapted for new public use.

The project does not include the construction of separate business offices or other commercial facilities. The area around the buildings will be landscaped and greened, remaining an open public space for residents of nearby mahallas, young people, and all city residents. Thus, most of the territory will be allocated to a green park, while the existing buildings will be used for educational, creative, and community initiatives. The mayor's office also presented renderings and fragments of a presentation of the future space.

The creation of the youth town is part of the Tashkent socioeconomic development roadmap for 2026–2027, approved by a presidential decree on July 27. The town will offer training in modern and promising professions using the dual education system.

Government buildings and facilities within the town will be leased to entrepreneurs from the manufacturing, construction, and service sectors. In exchange, the tenants will undertake to train the public and young people using the dual education system.

The project also includes the creation of high-tech, industrial-engineering, and service zones, educational and creative centers, a library, simulation workshops with modern infrastructure, and platforms for advanced practices. Additionally, the youth town will include a youth park, business offices, an entrepreneurial zone, and a startup studio.

A key focus will be collaboration with entrepreneurs organizing dual education. This model is expected to provide employment for residents and young people trained in the town.

The Tashkent Khokimiyat, the Ministry of Health, and the Ministry of Economy and Finance have been appointed responsible for the project's implementation. Completion of all activities is scheduled for December 2026.
