A new skyscraper with a height of 555 meters will be built in Russia
In the Russian city of Saint Petersburg, the project to build the 555-meter-tall "Lakhta Center 3" skyscraper has received a positive conclusion from the state expertise. It is planned to establish winter gardens, retail outlets, an exhibition space, and an observation deck in the tower.

According to the Naked Science publication, information about the approval of the project documentation by the Main State Expertise of Russia has been entered into the unified state register of conclusions on the examination of project documentation for capital construction objects.
The building will be located in the Lakhta-Olgino municipal district of the Primorsky district of Saint Petersburg. The developer of the project is the "Synergy" joint-stock company, and the technical customer is the "Rencons" joint-stock company.
According to the publication, upon completion of construction, the tower is expected to be among the ten tallest buildings in the world.
According to the architectural concept, the volume of the building is formed by two spiral shapes that twist and rise around central, multi-story atriums.
Halls in the form of winter gardens will be organized on the 43rd, 70th, and 88th floors of the tower. They are planned to feature cafeterias and landscaped areas.
It is planned to locate non-food stores, a pharmacy kiosk, and souvenir sales areas on the first and 100th floors. The upper part of the building will be allocated for an exhibition space and a city viewing platform.
"Lakhta Center 3" will be part of the high-rise complex being formed in Saint Petersburg. In early August, the Main State Expertise of Russia also gave a positive conclusion to the project documentation of the "Lakhta Center 2" skyscraper.
Additionally, the Saint Petersburg Land Use and Construction Commission has approved a new classification of land plots intended for the placement of high-rise buildings.
