A new bus route from Nazarbek to Chorsu is planned to be opened

It is planned to establish bus route No. 163 running to the Chorsu shopping center via Nazarbek. It will cover the Toqimachilar neighborhood, Nazarbek, and Tarnov areas. The 54 buses being purchased for the new routes are expected to arrive by the end of November 2026.

A new bus route from Nazarbek to Chorsu is planned to open

The Tashkent City Department of Transport and Road Transport Infrastructure Development announced this in response to an appeal on social networks. The appeal stated a lack of public transport in Nazarbek, long wait times for buses, and requested an increase in trips to the capital.

According to the department, "Keles Renesans" LLC signed a contract to purchase 54 new buses manufactured by the Chinese company Zhongtong. Down payments have also been made.

It is planned to assign the buses to the following new routes connecting the Tashkent and Zangiata districts of Tashkent region with the capital:

The routes are planned to be organized on the basis of a gross contract. In particular, bus No. 163 is expected to run through the Tuqimachilar neighborhood, the Nazarbek and Tarnov areas, as well as Shifobakhsh Suvlar and Beruni streets.

The department expects the new routes to reduce bus waiting times and lower the passenger load on existing routes. However, the launch date for the routes has not yet been specified: the deadline through the end of November applies to the arrival of the buses.

Currently, 15 bus routes connecting the Zangiata district with the city of Tashkent operate on the basis of gross contracts.

In particular, 11 large-capacity Yutong gas-powered buses serve route No. 134 "Bogishamol neighborhood - Chilonzor metro station". According to the data provided by the department, they make 134 trips per day, with an average interval of 13 minutes.

On route No. 135, nine SAZ LE-60 buses make 119 trips a day. Their running interval is indicated as 14 minutes.

In addition, fixed-route taxis No. 1253 "Tuqimachilar-15 - Chilonzor metro station" and No. 1254 "Tuqimachilar-15 - Chorsu shopping center" also serve the population.
