A major project that will take the infrastructure to a new level has been launched in the Alat district of Bukhara region. A new promenade is being built along the section of the "Amu-Bukhara" canal passing through the "Khalifa" and "Jaykhunobod" neighborhoods.

According to Shahobjon Sharopov, an official of the Alat district municipality, who reported to "Xabar.uz", 8 billion 510 million soums have been allocated for these works. Construction work is being carried out by workers and specialists of "Vobkent mukammal qurilish" LLC.

According to the plan, the 3-kilometer bank of the canal will be landscaped and turned into a beautiful leisure area. Ornamental trees will be planted here, pedestrian and bicycle paths, children's and sports playgrounds will be built, and modern lighting and irrigation systems will be installed. A new bridge will be built, turning the area around the canal into a safe zone.
