A major fire broke out in the Surkhandarya region, engulfing two clothing stores in the Angorsky district. The blaze was completely extinguished in less than 40 minutes.

A fire alarm was received at 7:38 a.m. on September 3 from the Yangiturmush mahalla, located on At-Termiziy Street. Three fire and rescue teams quickly responded to the scene. By 7:48 a.m., the fire was contained, and by 8:15 a.m., it was completely extinguished.

According to preliminary reports, the flames damaged approximately 35 square meters of space at the two clothing stores. No one was injured in the incident. The cause of the fire and the exact extent of the damage are currently being determined.

Another fire was previously reported in Almalyk at the Oydin dehqon bozori farmers' market, which also resulted in no casualties.
