A large fire broke out at a market in Almalyk

A large fire broke out at the Oydin farmers' market in the city of Almalyk in the Tashkent region this morning. Videos sent by Kun.uz subscribers show several stalls in the market burning.

A huge fire broke out at a market in Almalyk.

Several fire engines and ambulances were seen near the scene.

The Ministry of Emergency Situations told Kun.uz that on August 30, at 05:18 in the morning, the Tashkent regional fire brigade received a report of a fire at the "Oydin dehqon bozori" located in the "Hamza" neighborhood in the city of Almalyk.

The report states that "based on the report, fire and rescue units immediately arrived at the scene, surrounded the fire and completely extinguished it at 07:12."

The ministry said that there was no information about injuries as a result of the incident. The causes of the fire and the amount of damage caused are currently being determined.
