A fire broke out at the “Oydin” farmers’ market in the city of Almalyk.

The Tashkent Regional Emergency Situations Department reported that on August 30, at 05:18 in the morning, a report was received about a fire that broke out at the “Oydin” farmers’ market in the city of Almalyk. Fire and rescue units, which immediately arrived at the scene, completely extinguished the fire at 07:12.

According to preliminary information, no one was injured as a result of the fire. The causes of the fire and the amount of material damage are currently being determined.

Videos circulating on social networks show entrepreneurs and citizens trying to move their goods and equipment to a safe place.

It should be recalled that on July 4, a fire broke out at the "Urikzor" market in the Uchtepa district of Tashkent, burning down approximately 150 square meters of a grocery store. In April, a fire broke out at one of the shops at the "Beshqorgon" market, located on the street of the Tashkent Ring Road in the Chilanzor district.
