High-speed electric train service has started between Urgench and Khiva. Ticket price is 25 thousand soums

On the Urgench Airport—Khiva—Urgench Airport route, the CR200J high-speed electric train manufactured by a Chinese company has started serving passengers.

Consisting of 6 carriages, this train is designed for 415 passengers and travels at a speed of 160 km/h. It features comfortable "Economy" class seats, USB charging devices at each seat, a climate control system, and special spaces for passengers with disabilities.

Train No. 7055 Urgench Airport—Khiva departs from Urgench Airport at 08:40, stops at Urgench station between 08:59 and 09:02, and arrives in Khiva at 09:22.

Train No. 7058 Khiva—Urgench Airport departs from Khiva at 21:00, stops in Urgench at 21:20–21:23, and arrives at Urgench Airport at 21:42.

Ticket prices: for adults — 25 thousand soums; for children — 14 thousand soums.

On August 17, Shavkat Mirziyoyev got acquainted with the line connecting Urgench International Airport and Khiva railway station, and arrived in Khiva on the new electric train launched on this route.

Within the framework of the project worth 225 billion soums, a new 11-kilometer railway line connecting Urgench International Airport and the railway station was built. It includes one station, a bridge, intersections with highways, and 25 water drainage structures.
